Hello, my name is Tony, also known as Spike. This isn’t something I ever thought I would do, but right now I’m at one of the lowest points in my life and I don’t know what else to do.
First, I want to say that no one is expected to donate. Even just reading or sharing this helps more than you know, and I truly appreciate it.
I grew up in an abusive environment and was forced to live on my own at 18. Since then, I’ve tried my best to learn, work, and become stable, but every time I start to stand up, life seems to knock me back down. I moved away from abuse hoping things would improve, only to end up in another unhealthy situation with family. I kept trying to go to school, get jobs, and build something for myself, but stability has always felt just out of reach.
Right now, everything is hitting at once. My car is close to being repossessed due to missed payments, and although I’m on government income assistance, the payments have been inconsistent and make it hard to cover basic bills. I’m constantly falling behind faster than I can recover.
Mentally, this has taken a toll on me. I deal with ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and dyslexia, and I’m trying to get proper treatment. Some days, even basic tasks feel overwhelming, but I’m still fighting to move forward and build a life I can be proud of.
I have a very creative mind, and I truly believe that if I had some stability, I could turn that creativity into something meaningful. This fundraiser is meant to help me stabilize, protect my car, catch up on bills, and give me breathing room to rebuild instead of just survive.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. Whether you donate, share, or simply care, it truly means the world to me.
