Dearest friends,

Here at Crashing Water Theatre Company, all we can say is 'f**king COVID'. 

Based on new restrictions, we realise we have no choice but to cancel our Spike Heels  Fundraising Event.

To stage the best play we can, our production budget desperately needs a boost. However, new restrictions including mandatory masks indoors and no standing at hospitality venues means it wouldn't be much of a launch party if we decided to go ahead. Plus, it's simply not the right thing to do. Let's nip this outbreak in the bud and make sure we can have full houses at the theatre when we preview on the 19th of May. 

It's not easy being an artist in Sydney at the best of times. With COVID, it's next to impossible to breakeven in an independent production like ours. If you can, please throw us a bone (or 20!). All money raised goes towards theatre rent, performance rights, set and costumes.
