Hello, my name is Kobe Magdael, a sophomore student who wants to fulfill my dreams of playing club & college volleyball. I live with my mom, brother, and sister. We live in a small apartment and struggle to pay for rent and other necessities. My mother is an incredibly hard working single deaf woman who puts everything on the line to make sure me and my siblings live in a safe environment.
Since my mom has a disability our low income makes playing club volleyball, which is very expensive, outside out of my reach. During these past four months, my mom hasn’t been able to receive any financial support from the SSI (Supplemental Security Income) which has led to a huge decline in our income. Because of this, buying anything outside of our main necessities has been out of the question.
In order for me to achieve my dreams of playing at a college level it is really important that I play club volleyball. This will increase my visibility to college coaches, improve my skills, and challenge me to be the BEST version of myself both on and off the court.
The funds donated will be used to cover club fees, uniform costs, travel for tournaments, food, shoes, and gas money for my mom to be able to drive me to practice. My hope is that as a sophomore in High School the funds raised will help me through my next 3 years of club volleyball. Your support will not only hep me chase my dreams on the volleyball court but also alleviate the financial strain my family is facing.
My family and I would greatly appreciate any money you can donate towards this and a share with your family and friends would mean so much to us.
Thank you for helping me serve, set and spike my way into success!
