As many of you know, there are multiple games where the guys on the sidelines could really use some protection from the winter weather elements. After discussions with the coaching staff, it's been determined that parkas are not part of the current budget (this is a new uniform year), but that they would certainly welcome a donation from SLA to buy parkas as part of the team's ongoing equipment. The athletic department will take care of the design and ordering of about 22-25 parkas that can be used by guys on the sidelines during those handful of games when they're needed...and the team will be able to use them over the course of several seasons. There's certainly no pressure to contribute, but we're hopeful you'll agree that the gift will be beneficial to the team. We would like to raise $2,500.
