As you may know, our dear friend Bethany has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Right around the time of her 40th birthday she discovered a lump in her breast. And after a few appointments, it was confirmed that the lump is cancer.

If you know Bethany’s story, you know all of the trials she has faced, fought and most importantly overcome in her life. Many of these fights she has faced alone. I will not let this be the case with her cancer journey.

Bethany is a single mom to a beautiful 9 year old, Sofia (her art is the cover photo to this page). Being a single mom myself, I cannot even begin to imagine the fears and stresses of being diagnosed with cancer. While none of us can take away the burden of cancer, I’m hoping that together we can help alleviate some of the financial stresses that are going to follow from this journey.

Bethany will have her lumpectomy on Halloween and depending on the outcome of the pathology results there may be further operations needed, and there will definitely be further medical needs either way. It’s very possible this journey will proceed into next year which means she will have to meet and pay for TWO max out of pockets. Let’s rally together and show her our love and support in this time of need.
