My name is Leticia Veronica Willis. I’m a single mother raising two amazing children — strong students, humble hearts, and dedicated athletes. I’m also the primary caregiver for my parents and grandmother. My father suffered a stroke at age 40, leaving him paralyzed on his right side and unable to speak. My grandmother battles kidney issues and spinal injuries from repeated falls. My mother lives with diabetes, vision loss, and severe arthritis.
I was recently unexpectedly terminated from my job, and overnight my income disappeared. Now I’m trying to support five family members and myself, while worrying about rent, food, utilities, transportation, and keeping our only car running for school, sports, and medical appointments. Many know me as “Beyoncé” because I bring light, kindness, and laughter wherever I go. I’ve spent years caring for patients, supporting coworkers, and lifting others — often hiding my own depression and stress behind a smile. I’ve humbled myself recycling bottles and collecting cans just to survive.
I’m not asking for luxury — only stability, breathing room, and help through this difficult moment. If you’ve ever crossed paths with me and felt supported or seen, I hope you’ll remember that heart today. Your donation or share helps keep my family together and gives us hope while I rebuild. With love and gratitude, Leticia Veronica Willis
