Spenny's Big Crash - Support for Spencer & Alyssa

Hi friends! By now, you may have likely heard that Spencer had a mishap in the backcountry on Tuesday, February 13. While snowboarding with friends, he took an unlucky tumble and hit his head on a rock under the snow. Luckily, his friends acted quickly and were able to assess his condition, stabilize him and coordinate with Whistler Search & Rescue for a helicopter extraction.

Spencer was rushed to VGH, where he underwent surgery to fix an open skull fracture, remove fragments and rebuild the broken skull with titanium plates. In addition, he has a fractured orbital and may require additional surgeries in the next few weeks.

If you know Spencer, you know he would do anything to help a friend. And that's why we're here.

Spencer is expected to recover fully - and we know this stubborn mofo will be shredding soon - however, this recovery will take time and resources. We would love to take some financial stress off of Alyssa as she helps him recover and cares for the animals.
