Hallo, mein Name ist Gisela.

Seit vielen Jahren lebe ich in Belmont auf Jamaika und habe dort das Papaya Hill aufgebaut.

Ich stehe unter Schock, kann es nicht begreifen, nicht realisieren.

Mein geliebtes Papaya Hill existiert nicht mehr!

Wer einmal dort war – oder es auch nur auf Bildern gesehen hat – weiß, dass es weit mehr war als ein Ferienort. Es war mein Zuhause. Ein Ort voller Liebe, Wärme, Stil und Seele. Stück für Stück habe ich mein kleines Paradies aufgebaut – mit Herzblut, Hingabe und unendlich viel Leidenschaft.

Wie viele sagten: „Was für ein Paradies – bis ins kleinste Detail.“

Und genau so war es. Jeder Winkel hatte Bedeutung. Jeder Besucher war willkommen. Hier wurde gelebt, gelacht, geteilt – Papaya Hill war ein Ort der Begegnung, voller Energie und Menschlichkeit.

Nun ist nichts mehr übrig.

Der Hurrikan Melissa hat alles zerstört.

Das Paradies existiert nicht mehr.

Ich kann kaum in Worte fassen, was ich fühle – es ist, als hätte der Sturm nicht nur mein Zuhause, sondern auch ein Stück meines Herzens mitgerissen.

Doch ich gebe nicht auf.

Ich möchte schauen wie es weiter geht – mit eurer Hilfe.

Wer Papaya Hill kannte, weiß, wofür es stand. Und wer mich kennt, weiß, dass ich kämpfen werde. Jede Unterstützung, jeder Beitrag, ein Stück Hoffnung zurückzubringen.

I have been living in Belmont, Jamaica, for many years and built Papaya Hill there.

I am in shock, unable to comprehend or realize what has happened.

My beloved Papaya Hill no longer exists!

Anyone who has ever been there—or even just seen pictures of it—knows that it was much more than a vacation resort. It was my home. A place full of love, warmth, style, and soul. Piece by piece, I built my little paradise—with heart and soul, dedication, and endless passion.

As many said, “What a paradise—down to the smallest detail.”

And that's exactly how it was. Every corner had meaning. Every visitor was welcome. People lived, laughed, and shared here—Papaya Hill was a place of encounter, full of energy and humanity.

Now there is nothing left.

Hurricane Melissa destroyed everything.

Paradise no longer exists.

I can hardly put into words what I feel—it's as if the storm took not only my home, but also a piece of my heart.

But I'm not giving up.

I want to see how things will continue – with your help.

Those who knew Papaya Hill know what it stood for. And those who know me know that I will fight. Every bit of support, every contribution, will help bring back a piece of hope.
