Posle godina cekanja i borbe konacno je napravljena
terapija za Maksima….
Napravljeno je vise verzija terapije kako bi naucnici pronasli onu koja je najbezbednija i najefikasnija za Maksima.
Veliki napredak je sto smo stigli do preklinicke faze testiranja. To znaci da terapija sada prolazi prve vazne provere bezbednosti i efikasnosti.
Trenutno naucnici rade testove toksicnosti i distribucije terapije.
Proverava se da li terapija moze izazvati stetne efekte u telu ili organima. Cilj je da se osigura da je terapija sigurna za Maksima.
I proverava se kako se terapija siri kroz telo, gde dospeva i koliko ostaje tamo. Ovo je kljucno da terapija dostigne mozak i ne osteti druge organe.
Ovaj deo procesa je kritican i zahteva dodatna novcana sredstva. Ako ne sakupimo novac, testiranje ce morati da se zaustavi, a sav trud i sredstva koja su do sada ulozena mogu da padnu u vodu.
Mi smo cetri godine cekali ovu sansu . Sada smo konacno na korak do terapije, i ne smemo odustati.

This is a call for help—a cry from a family doing everything to keep their little boy alive.
Maksim is a beautiful, brave soul battling an extremely rare and devastating genetic mutation called IRF2BPL. This cruel disorder is slowly robbing him of everything—his ability to eat, breathe, move, and simply live like other children. But Maksim is still here. He’s fighting, every single day.
He now eats through a feeding tube (gastrostomy), breathes through a tracheostomy, and endures painful seizures that can last for hours. He wears a catheter for days due to severe urinary complications. His little hands are stuck in tight, painful contractures that keep him from playing, touching, or even holding on to the people he loves.
Yet despite everything, Maksim shines with courage. And we refuse to give up on him.
There is hope on the horizon. A gene therapy is being developed specifically for IRF2BPL, but it’s still in its final stages of research. Until then, Maksim must stay stable and strong enough to one day receive that treatment—and that means he needs help now.
We are raising funds for:
• Urgent medical care and hospital treatments
• Specialized therapy and equipment
• Surgery to release the painful contractions in his arms
• Ongoing support to improve his quality of life
