Charlotta and I started this fundraiser in 2020  when my cancer appeared out of the blue. Running helped me to get through my first round of treatment with litte side effects.

Since March 2023 we know my cancer is back. From being bedridden, I was speedily revived to being able to pick up my life again. Big hail to big pharma and of course to the fantastic team at St. Josefs Krankenhaus Vienna. I am living, working and of course running. Anders and the kids keep me in high spirits. By now we have successfully completed the Krebsforschungslauf and a massiv thanx to everybody who donated. It means the world to us. I still believe that an active lifestyle is vital to cope with the disease and treatment side effects and basically for everybody else as well.

Why do we collect money for St. Josef.s Krankenhaus? It is an excellent hospital open to the public.  I believe in the system where we have still hospitals for everybody but treatment is expensive and cancer stageing is costly. I want for each cancer patient to have the best care available. 

So if you care to support us, I would be most grateful. It does not have to be much. Life is beautiful - Hope, always, absolutely!
