Spende für Cataleya – Ein besonderer Film, eine Therapie im Kumar Center und ein Kampf ums Leben

Liebe Freunde, Familie und Unterstützer,

ich wende mich heute mit einer sehr persönlichen Geschichte an euch. Meine Tochter Cataleya wurde mit zerebraler Lähmung (Cerebralparese) geboren. Ihre Reise begann mit einem dramatischen Moment, als sie bei der Geburt 18 Minuten lang reanimiert werden musste, da sie in Lebensgefahr war. Dieser Kampf ums Leben hat sie zu der starken, mutigen Kämpferin gemacht, die sie heute ist.

Cataleya ist eine wahre Orchidee aus Kolumbien – zart, aber voller Stärke. Sie trägt in sich das Erbe und die Schönheit ihrer kolumbianischen Wurzeln. Doch trotz der Herausforderungen, die ihre Krankheit mit sich bringt, kämpft Cataleya jeden Tag weiter. Sie kann nicht laufen, nicht kauen, sich nicht richtig ausdrücken und nicht sprechen. Aber ihr schiefes Lächeln ist alles für uns – es ist der größte Beweis ihrer Lebensfreude und ihrer unerschütterlichen Willenskraft.

Cataleya liebt das Meer. Das Rauschen der Wellen und die Weite des Ozeans beruhigen sie und schenken ihr Hoffnung und Freude. Sie ist ein echtes Kind der Welt – ihr Papa kommt aus Kolumbien, ihre Mama aus Argentinien und sie wurde in Deutschland geboren. Diese Vielfalt an Kulturen prägt sie und macht sie zu einem einzigartigen, besonderen Mädchen.

Ein großer Schritt für Cataleya wäre eine Therapie im Kumar Center in Mexiko. Das Zentrum ist bekannt für seine innovativen und fortschrittlichen Therapieansätze, die Kindern wie Cataleya helfen können, ihre motorischen Fähigkeiten zu verbessern und ihre Lebensqualität zu steigern. Doch leider sind die Kosten für diese Therapie sehr hoch, und wir können sie nicht alleine tragen.

Dank des Films „Die 2 Emisferien von Luca“ haben wir nun die Möglichkeit, auf diese wichtige Notwendigkeit aufmerksam zu machen. Jeder Beitrag – sei es durch eine Spende bringt uns einen Schritt näher, Cataleya die Hilfe zu geben, die sie so dringend benötigt.

Queridos amigos, familia

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una historia muy personal y profunda. Mi hija Cataleya nació con parálisis cerebral. Su vida comenzó con un momento dramático, cuando fue reanimada durante más de 18 minutos tras haber estado en peligro de muerte al nacer. Esa lucha por sobrevivir la ha convertido en una guerrera increíblemente fuerte.

Cataleya es una orquídea de Colombia: delicada, pero llena de fuerza. Aunque enfrenta enormes desafíos cada día, lucha con valentía y amor. Cataleya no puede caminar, no puede masticar, no puede expresarse bien y no puede hablar. Pero su sonrisa torcida es todo para nosotros; esa sonrisa es el reflejo de su alegría, su amor y su determinación. Nos recuerda todos los días lo valioso que es cada pequeño avance y lo mucho que podemos aprender de su coraje.

Cataleya ama el mar. El sonido de las olas y la inmensidad del océano la tranquilizan y le dan esperanza. Es una niña del mundo: su papá es de Colombia, su mamá de Argentina y ella nació en Alemania. Esta mezcla de culturas la hace única y especial.

El siguiente gran paso en la vida de Cataleya sería una terapia en el Kumar Center en México, que es reconocido por sus avanzados enfoques terapéuticos. Esta terapia podría ayudar a Cataleya a mejorar sus habilidades motoras y su calidad de vida. Sin embargo, los costos de este tratamiento son altos y no podemos cubrirlos solos.

Hoy, más que nunca, necesitamos de su ayuda. Cada contribución, por pequeña que sea, será una enorme ayuda para brindarle a Cataleya la oportunidad de recibir la terapia que necesita para avanzar. Today, I want to share with you a very personal and heartfelt story. My daughter Cataleya was born with cerebral palsy. Her life began with a dramatic moment when she was resuscitated for more than 18 minutes after being in danger of death during childbirth. This fight for survival has made her an incredibly strong warrior.

Cataleya is an orchid from Colombia: delicate, yet full of strength. Despite facing enormous challenges every day, she fights with courage and love. Cataleya cannot walk, she cannot chew, she cannot express herself properly, and she cannot speak. But her crooked smile means everything to us; it is a reflection of her joy, her love, and her determination. It reminds us every day of how precious each small step is and how much we can learn from her courage.

Cataleya loves the sea. The sound of the waves and the vastness of the ocean calm her and give her hope. She is a child of the world: her father is from Colombia, her mother is from Argentina, and she was born in Germany. This blend of cultures makes her unique and special.

The next big step in Cataleya’s journey would be therapy at the Kumar Center in Mexico, which is known for its advanced therapeutic approaches. This therapy could help Cataleya improve her motor skills and her quality of life. However, the costs for this treatment are high, and we cannot cover them on our own.
