Hi there, some of you already know the story, but this past weekend i had pretty severe accident riding a scooter. I have no memory of the accident, i fell and hit the back of my head and gashed it open. I was taken to the hospital where i was diagnosed with a concussion and traumatic brain injury. They stopped the bleeding with staples then replaced with 16 stitches. At my follow up appointment with my primary physician I was told no work for at least 2 weeks while on pain meds. I do not have any PTO left at work to cover the next two weeks and like most people cannot afford to lose out on those hours worked.
