Spencer Krueger's Rugby Trip to NZ
Donation protected
Spencer Krueger, an extremely talented young American rugby player has been accepted into a summer program at the world renowned academy of the Super Rugby champions, the Canterbury Crusaders in New Zealand. An academy responsible for producing countless All Blacks and International rugby players such as Dan Carter and Richie McCaw. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the Arlington Stallions graduate who now plays his college rugby at Ohio State while also representing the Chicago Lions mens club on a national level. Spencer has risen through the ranks under the coaching of Paul Bergman at Arlington Stallions and then Tom Rooney at Ohio State to get him to this opportunity. Everyone involved is hopeful and confident that he will go on to be Ohio's first All-American in a number of years and to follow in the footsteps of the last Chicago Lion who went to this academy, Angus MacLellan, who is now playing for the national team, the USA Eagles while making a career as a professional rugby player.
