Hi, my name is Brian Riggs and Spencer is a good friend of mine. I am sure I speak for many people who have come in contact with Spencer and that their lives were impacted positively. He exemplifies a good man. He is kind, humble, loving and gracious. Spencer lights up a room with his big smile and his positivity! He would give anyone the shirt off his back. He serves as a firefighter for the Shepherdsville Fire Dept. where he risks his life for everyone who needs him! He is an encourager and a person who wants to see everyone WIN! Now Spencer needs us and we want to help him fight! He was recently diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder in which the body's immune system attacks part of its peripheral nervous system. It can cause paralysis and even in more severe cases leave a person unable to breathe independently. He started treatment today 1-20-23 and will continue in-patient treatment for the next 10 days. With any medical emergency, there will be a financial strain. We started this GOFUNDME to help ease any financial hardship this will cause. He risks his life (with a smile) to maybe one day save you or your loved one. Let's show our love, support and appreciation by stepping up for him!
