Spence Bench!

On September 21st 2018, we lost one of the funniest, coolest, and kindest humans to walk the Earth, Spencer Louis Savard. So let us honour and immortalize this man today, on what would have been his 35th birthday, by erecting a park bench where his friends and family can sit and reflect on the wonderful person Spencer was, and still is in our hearts!
We are currently looking at a spot for the bench in the upper waterfall area of Diefenbaker Park in Tsawwassen, just a few blocks from Spencer's mom's house. The city of Delta has a memorial bench program which includes a brand new bench, a 4"x6"plaque with a write-up, and 10 years of servicing, all for a flat rate of $3000 . The plaque write-up will have some kind words and perhaps a quote from our good pal and recommendations for plaque quotes are encouraged in the comments and updates regarding the bench will be shared as well.
If you would like to donate to Spence's bench, any amount is great. In return, you will soon have a special spot where you can share your thoughts with Spence.
