Chief “Speedy” W.L Ingram the III has been battling COVID-19 since early January.    He was on a Ventilator for weeks.  He has a tracheostomy now,  on and off the ventilator still.    He was moved to a Acute therapy Hosptial and has been in there for a month now.  Speedy is still battling the aftermath of Covid which affected his lungs terribly.   He is still battling bacterial lung infections and everything related.  Please if you feel like you can,  please donate for medical expenses , out of work and home expenses.  He is very missed by the town of Oak Island and all of the Police Department  and community.  As well as his wife Pat and daughter Jill.  Jill and her mom have been taking turns back and forth from their homes and family. It  has been a huge impact on their  lives as well as everyone who loves him!
