We are raising money to help our dear friend John recover from the catastrophic damage to his home and vehicle after having suffered TWO incidents with cars crashing into his home in the last 9 months. The first incident was in November 2021, when a speeding uninsured driver blew through a traffic light and crashed into his home — literally landing in his kitchen and destroying the kitchen itself and much of the front of the house. Then in July 2022, ANOTHER speeding driver raced up the driveway, crashed into his car and pushed it back so violently that the garage and the car were totaled. See the photos below.

John has paid thousands of dollars as a result of the incident in November and now needs to replace his car and rebuild his garage. He must pay the insurance deductibles for his car and house - again - plus all of the out of pocket costs that his insurance won’t cover. The city has done nothing to safeguard his home thus far, forcing him to hire an attorney to ensure that the city addresses the dangerous problems at this intersection. We are hoping to raise funds to help him cover all of the expenses that he has incurred through no fault of his own. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
