Speech Therapy funding for Patrick
Hi, we hope that we can grab a little attention to help our beloved Patrick who suffered a life-altering stroke over Christmas, towards the tail end of a seemingly mild episode of Covid. I am Katie, his sister and this is being written on behalf of his loving family and his wide circle of amazing friends.
Patrick is the most wonderful team player and giver and we are wishing to harness the outpouring of love and support to raise some funds for speech therapy and physiotherapy which will be needed over the coming months and years to help him continuously improve his mobility and speech. Right now he is being cared for most amazingly by the NHS at the Royal United Hospital and now St Martins Hospital in Bath. We will create a fund for top-up therapy to ensure that his determination to rehabilitate is realised. Any unused funds will be donated to Stroke Association UK
Patrick has been as fit as a fiddle for years and given a lot of his time to supporting others through his work and social connections. This stroke was out of the blue and will require prolonged support to get him back on his feet. We will help do that and we ask that you donate a small sum to help, please.
