Speech Device for Linus

Hey, guys! As many of you know, Linus has childhood apraxia of speech(CAS). This is a rare neurological speech disorder that affects the brain's ability to send messages to the muscles used for speech. It's not caused by muscle weakness or paralysis. CAS can impact the precision and consistency of movements in the tongue, lips, and uvula, leading to speech errors.
Linus has been getting speech therapy four(4) times a week between our local elementary as well as an out patient therapy, and has made huge strides! It was recommended, and for the past nine(9) months, we've been testing out speech devices which make communication easier for him, especially in situations where he may not have one of us available to translate for him (school, camp, sports, etc). We've finally completed the paperwork and testing required and have gotten insurance approval, and our out of pocket expense for the device is just over $3,000. This device will work for him for 5-10 years, so hopefully the duration of his need.
We are hoping to be able to get his device before school starts, which is why we're reaching out for help. An added expense of this measure in a short amount of time is honestly overwhelming.
We appreciate any help procuring this support for Linus.
