Specialist equipment & training for small animal rescue

Donation protected
The Skyla Project was set up by Watch Manager Nic Brennan of Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, in response to a gap in training and equipment for use in the rescue of household pets involved in emergencies.

Our mission is to provide every fire station across the UK with the specialised equipment and training needed for firefighters to safely and effectively rescue small animals in emergency situations, ensuring the protection of both human and animal lives. We aim to do this through fundraising and donations so we can protect vulnerable animals in crisis, support the wellbeing of our communities, and enhance the lifesaving work of the UK Fire and Rescue Services.
