Hi everyone, thank you so much for even reading this and I didn't think I would ever be creating a gofund me if I am honest, so I really appreciate you reading and your support if that feels aligned for you.

The reason being is that in the last few months my health has taken quiet a turn and having had specialist MRI's and CT scans here in Ireland in the last 2 months and with symptoms progressing quiet rapidly, I must seek surgery. What I am experiencing is endometriosis in the abdomen, bowel, pelvic, womb and thoracic areas and whilst some of that cost of this specific surgery (not the thoracic part) could be covered by the cross border directive scheme from the HSE, which means that type of surgery here in Ireland (even though there is very minimal endo surgeons available here in Ireland and I would be waiting years on a waitlist and for private health insurance to cover some part of the payment abroad, one must be on a public waitlist for surgery here for at least 12months), the HSE will only reimburse 4,954euro, post my return from Athens.

My surgery needs go even deeper as most of what should up in my CT and MRI's and my progressing symptoms are related to my chest cavity, ribs and diaphragm with nodule and lesions growing around this area, and currently Ireland does not offer any surgery for Thoracic Endometriosis as there is no surgeon here in Ireland who is qualified to do same.

This leads me to taking the leap to get the right support in February, which is in Athens Centre for Endometriosis under the care of Dr.Konstantinos Kyriakopoulos a consultant gynecologists and endometriosis specialist and Dr Konstantinidid Consultant Thoracic Surgeon. Until I am in surgery, we won't know the extent of what they are dealing with, so for now I have received a rough quote of 15,000euro however depending on how long my surgery is and if a third surgeon is required on the day, and extra stays in hospital, this could be anywhere from 15,000-20,000euro. Having worked for myself I will also have to take at least 1 month off with no pay, and this is why I am here today. I actually wouldn't of thought of a go fund me page, but intuitively it came in about 3 weeks ago, and the next day someone else said it to me and it felt good in my body so I am trusting that guidance, so honestly only support if it feels aligned to your heart and intuition.
