Hot air balloon ride for Reshelle & family

Hi, I’m Sherryn and I’m asking for help to brighten up my sister Reshelle’s Christmas by sending her and her family on a hot air balloon ride in Brisbane. 

Reshelle was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and since having her operation to remove some of the cancer she is currently undergoing chemotherapy to be followed by radiation.

Earlier in the year she was unwell and was rushed to hospital to have gallstones removed and some were unknowingly left in there and she ended up needing an extended hospital stay and a 2nd surgery to remove her gall badder. Unfortunately this time off work had used up her holiday pay from work and a portion of her savings.

Reshelle is a hard working single mum/grandma who has worked full time in aged care for over 20 years and is the most generous soul I know.

She is always there for everyone and my heart aches for her to be going through this and to add on the financial impact and added stress it’s had on her and her family as she’s unable to work at the moment.

Reshelle would never ask for financial help and somehow managed to get essential bills up to date before her operation so she wouldn’t have to burden her family to help her through this horrible time and she is hoping to be well enough after chemotherapy to return to work even though she will be having radiation.

I’d love for them to all share this special memory together and Reshelle has always wanted to go in a hot air balloon so I thought what a magical moment to bring a smile to her face and warm her heart to experience this with the ones she loves most for Christmas.

Any additional funds raised will go to Reshelle to lighten some of her financial commitments during this horrible time .
