Teresa Siragusa Special Education Scholarship
Donation protected
As many of you know my mom Teresa Siragusa passed away earlier in the year. My mom was a special education teacher at me and my sister’s high school, Kennesaw Mountain. She worked at Hayes Elementary and was an active volunteer in the Cobb County School System for many years before working as a special education teacher at the highschool. She had the biggest heart for all of her kids and especially her special education class at KMHS. When my mom passed away I wanted to do something to honor her that can continue on forever. We decided to start a scholarship for a student to receive every year in honor of my mom. This scholarship will be the Teresa Siragusa Special Education Scholarship. The kids at the highschool have a special place in my family’s heart and we want to make sure they will be looked after just as my mom looked after them.
We understand that everyone has different financial situations so please do not feel pressured to donate. But if you choose to we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every penny will be going to the scholarship fund. We hope that this is the start of a beautiful tradition and bring awareness that will go on forever in honor of the kids and my mom. Thank you for the support.
