On May 26, 2021 HSI New Orleans Special Agent Mark C. Daniels passed away after battling Acute Leukemia.  Mark began his federal law enforcement career as an Inspector with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in 2003, after he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps.  Mark was initially assigned to the Port of Gulfport, MS and later transferred to the Port of Buffalo, NY with CBP.  Mark is survived by his beautiful wife Nikki and three wonderful and amazing children, Maddie (22), Sophia (15) and Joseph (10).  Any assistance to help the Daniels family through this difficult period would be greatly appreciated.
