Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Bryce Christensen was a true American hero and a role model to his family, friends and co-workers. His tragic and sudden death will be deeply felt by all.
Bryce was a Special Agent assigned to the San Diego office for the last two years. Bryce was assigned to the San Diego Narcotics Enforcement Team devoting countless hours safeguarding our community and country. Furthermore, Bryce was a member of HSI San Diego’s elite Special Response Team conducting high risk operations.
Bryce was very accomplished. He graduated from Fremont High School in Fremont, NE in 2006 and was honored as the school’s top high school senior. Bryce graduated from the prestigious West Point Military Academy in May 2010 and honorably served his country as an Army Officer. Bryce served two tours to Afghanistan in 2013 and October 2014- March 2015 receiving the Bronze Star for his meritorious actions. Furthermore, he earned the Ranger tab, the Sapper Tab, and Air Assault Badge. Bryce led a life of service to the people of the United States.
Bryce was an avid animal lover and when not spending time with his family, would spend his off duty time with his dog “Annie” at dog parks around the San Diego area. He is survived by his wife Amanda “Mandi” Christensen and his mother and father.
