This year the SPEAR team are fortunate to be running the Skukuza Half Marathon to help raise money and awareness for supporting our partners at the Jock Environmental Monitoring Unit (JEMU).

SPEAR’s vision is to see Africa’s communities take ownership of and lead the way in the conservation of their wildlife, particularly in the protection of the endangered African rhino in the Kruger National Park.

SPEAR have a close relationship supporting JEMU and their conservation efforts in the Kruger National Park.

Money raised from this run will go directly to the JEMU team to support their operational requirements to fight environmental crime, something which has an impact not just to the animals, but to the communities around the park.
