We are a group of Superheroes that have united to support the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AzAAP) and pediatric professionals in the battle against the forces that threaten child health and well-being. Our team has chosen to focus our fundraising efforts on Child Safety. AzAAP remains committed to ensuring all Arizona children remain safe from harm and injury. The home environment has always been a hotspot for accidents in children, and since the coronavirus pandemic, there has been an increase in injuries involving kids. Health care professionals continue to be concerned about child abuse, drowning, sleep suffocation and other issues impacting families in our state. AzAAP has long recognized the importance of supporting pediatric professionals in providing important safety and injury prevention guidance to patients and families, and now more than ever, has been working to address many of these issues through public alert messages, campaigns, and provider and community education.
