As most of you may know, Jordan Acord was in a serious car accident a few days ago. He broke his pelvis in 3 places and has a large, open wound in his head. He has undergone surgery that placed two large bolts in his pelvis to hold it together, fixtures that will remain permanently. 

His road to recovery will be long and painful. It includes re-learning how to walk and retraining his body to do basic human tasks without assistance, which is an extremely humbling thing to go through.

We have chosen to start a love offering for Jordan, which neither he nor Dani know about. If it’s on your heart to donate to his recovery and household bills, we kindly request that you do not mention it if you see or talk to them. We would like to bless them with one lump sum all at once. This makes it easier on everybody to be able to bless them as they have mentioned they don’t want to ask for any hand-outs for this. Your names (and any messages you’d like to add) will be written on a card.

Jordan is the main source of income for his family. Currently, he runs his own business that he started from the ground up but since he can’t work, he can’t provide. The doctors are saying his recovery could last for 4+ months but he is determined to shorten that time if he can.

Through this event, we are reminded of the volatility of life, the graciousness of God, and the blessing of protection over Jordan’s life. It is clear to us (and those overseeing him at the hospital) that Jordan had God’s hand on him during this accident as many do not survive incidents of this level of seriousness.

If you feel called to help us raise enough to pay his household bills (and hopefully help with his medical bills) during his recovery time, please know that your donations will be used in appropriation to keep the lights on, the roof overhead, and anything directly pertinent to bills and staying afloat (medical or otherwise).
