In the early morning hours on Monday my dad passed suddenly and so unexpectedly.

On Saturday, August 2nd, my dad was not feeling well. He had a fever and was getting sick. He woke up Sunday still not feeling well. He took the dog for a walk and came back to their apartment and said he didn’t feel good and was short of breath. She immediately called 911. EMS came, and they got him to the hospital, and he coded. They immediately intubated him, and within a matter of hours, he was gone. They believe it was liver failure. All of the doctors and nurses tried so hard to save him, but unfortunately, they couldn’t. He gained his angel wings at 2:22 am.

My dad did not have any life insurance, which puts the full burden of payment on his family. Mom is on disability and doesn’t get a lot of money each month. Now, without him and his income, she’s going to have to move out of where they are staying as she cannot afford it alone. Plus, she has Huey (her ESA dog) to care for. On top of the funeral, mom will have to have extra income to help with the move. Please help our family give my dad the farewell he deserves. If you cannot donate to this cause, please share this.
