My name is Sam Bogen, and I am a 16 year old Life Scout working on my Eagle Award. For my Eagle Project, I am working with the spcaLA South Bay shelter in Hawthorne, California. I am going to remodel and restore a training room, installing cabinets, benches, and a network of six ceiling fans to keep the room, trainers, dogs, and cats cool. 

The spcaLA is a no-kill foundation with a network of shelters located throughout the Los Angeles area. They rescue both dogs and cats and will do anything they can to provide them the best lives possible. This is truly an outstanding organization that strives to do the best they can for the animals.

Your donations, as small or as large as they may be, are immensely appreciated. I cannot thank you enough for contributing to the project and helping these dogs and cats that are in desperate need of a home. The project will occur over this summer, and all donations will help the project be successful.

Any donation that is not used for the project will go to the spcaLA directly.
