Help Us Spay & Neuter 100 Animals in Colombia This August

We are Organización Animales Felices AFO, a nonprofit animal welfare organization based in Quindío, Colombia. Our mission is simple but urgent: to reduce animal suffering by making veterinary care—including free spay and neuter clinics—accessible in underserved communities.

Many of these stray animals are seen as pests, poisoned, abused, or left to suffer from preventable diseases. But this crisis doesn’t just impact animals—it affects people too. Uncontrolled animal populations increase the spread of fleas, ticks, and zoonotic diseases that disproportionately harm low-income and rural families.

Spaying and neutering is a long-term solution, not a temporary fix. It reduces the number of animals born into suffering, minimizes the spread of disease, and helps control the stray population humanely and sustainably. But more than just procedures, our clinics also provide education—teaching people how to care for animals and why sterilization is an act of compassion, not cruelty.
