Hi my name is Melissa, I’m fundraising to help with the cost of getting 50 cats spayed and neutered.

Who I’m helping

I’m completely over my head with the amount of cats and kittens I have taken into my care. I started feeding and taking care of the neighborhood cats and ended up taking in 3 pregnant momma cats that gave birth to a total of 20 kittens. I also have 6 kittens who are around 7 months old, 3 cats that are a little over 1 yr old. All needing to be fixed. Additionally there are 7 outside cats that are friendly between the same ages and around 10-12 other outside cats that are still skittish.

I need your help!

I’m a working single mother who lives paycheck to paycheck. Any additional money I have has been going to cat food and liter. I am in desperate need of help with getting these cats fixed as soon as possible.

What I’ve done

I have spoke with my local TNR groups in my area and will have help with getting things accomplished. I have also submitted an application to my county for assistance and was told I could possibly get 1-2 cats fixed over the course of a few months.

My next steps

I plan to raise money to get these cats fixed and vaccinated. Then I will be contacting rescues and posting on social media to help find forever homes.
