Spawn’s Emergency Top Surgery Fund

I’m starting this gofundme for the remaining costs of my Gender Affirming top surgery on Jan 30th (2024).

My name is Ce Giannotti, also known as Spawn and my pronouns are They/Them. It’s a procedure I’ve been hoping for, and needing, for years. I came out and Transmasc Nonbinary in middle school and have been dealing with chest dysphoria even before that. This will be a lie changing procedure that I was finally able to schedule my procedure and have been looking forward to for months.

I've been asking for those many months if anything is due upfront and was told by the scheduler that if it's covered by insurance I should be fine and they have payment plans for any run over. But my insurance, even though it’s covering the surgery as a medically necessary procedure, has a $2000 deductible . My mom and sister have run into this, but in their situation, they did the procedure and billed my mom to $2000 after so she could make smaller payments. I expected the same thing but instead the hospital just hit me today with the $2,000 and that it has to be paid by the day of the procedure and none of us were prepared for this as of today it’s only about a week's notice.

So I'm scrambling to cover this fee so I can undergo the surgery as planned, and I don’t have enough to cover it so soon.
