As a young woman I enjoyed my everyday life like any person, working and enjoying life to the fullest with my family. It wasn't until the beginning of this year where everything for me had changed. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, cancer. The thought of the word "cancer" sends chills down peoples' backs regardless of who they are. My own mortality was being put on trial against a stage IV cancer and my body is being worked out to it's maximum capacity. I've been working as much as I can to afford hospital and medical bills without having to rely on my parent's income to keep me afloat- and at that if they were to help me, it would put a strain on my whole family, including my brother who is in college and relies on my parent's income to study. My family and I have never lived an affluent lifestyle, I was brought up humbly and taught to appreciate what we are given. During the time I receive chemotherapy I try to gain the strength through body pains to get myself to work. I never try to let cancer beat me, not physically, emotionally, or financially. I am starting to reach my body's limit on the amount that I can work. Any help at this point in my treatment would be greatfully appreciated. Emotional, spiritual, or financial support would mean the world to me. Thank you!
