Spartan Ireland: Dreaming Bigger: Sparta & Sweden

Donation protected
Spartan Racing became my passion; competing a joy, the competitors a community of friends, and as my racing improved, a dream grew inside me to pursue the podium in Age Group World Championships. I am seeking help as I aim to compete in the 2019 Spartan Race Trifecta World Championship in Sparta, Greece, ( a 3 race weekend) and the following week, the Spartan Race Ultra World Championship in Sweden.  A 24 hour endurance event.  1 trip.  2 World Championships. The funds I'm seeking to raise will cover airfare, food, some specialized gear necessary for a 24 hour event in North Sweden in November, and entry into the Trifecta World Championship. As a testament to the camaraderie that is found in the Spartan racing community, the same friend that pushed me to dream big enough to get to Sparta in 2018 has pushed me to dream bigger, & has taken care of my registration  into the Ultra World Championship.  An amazingly huge gift, which he followed up with "You better make it to Sweden!" Spartan Race is more than a hobby, it's my passion. It's become my platform to encourage others to study nutrition, relentlessly commit to your own health and fitness, pursue your dreams, and live boldly in your faith.   In 2018, I took 5th in the Trifecta World Championship Super, 2nd in  the Sprint, and had an unfortunate injury with 17 miles to go in the  Beast.  After 10 full weeks off of running, I have come back to win the infamous Big Bear Championship race with the #1 time over all Age Groups, and just rounded out the USA National Championship Series with another 1st place podium in Snowbasin, Utah.  I'm ready.  I'm faster now than  before the injury.  I'm a better climber.  I'm qualified and registered for the World Championship Beast in Tahoe, and I've allowed myself to dream bigger.  I'm pursuing what I call the 'Spartan hat trick':  win the World Championship Beast, the Trifecta World Championship and the Ultra World Championship in 2019. The Lord has given me life and the blessings.  I've put in the work.  A  Spartan friend has given me the Ultra WC entry.  Now I'm asking for  support to make the journey and chase this dream. Thank you all, and see you at a Finish Line soon.  AROO! @Spartan Ireland
