We are dealing with the unexpected loss of Robert (Bob) Sparrow; loving husband, brother, and friend. Bob was involved in a roll over car accident in Eloy, AZ on 12/6/2020, while his wife Lisa Sparrow witnessed from a vehicle behind him. We are struggling with this sudden loss, the unknown reasoning and cause of this accident.
As many are aware, Bob and Lisa had a dream to move out west and start a new, simple life living the way they loved: in their camper with their pets; Maggie, Diesel, and Kiki. They have worked towards this dream for the last 5 years. This accident occurred after a 14 day cross-country adventure from LaGrange, IN to their new home in Yuma, AZ; which was less than 3 hours away. Bob (along with Maggie) were driving their truck on the highway, towing the camper when he veered off the road, across the median and multiple lanes of traffic. The truck and camper flipped multiple times and landed upside down on the side of the road. EMS was quickly on scene, rescuing Bob from the vehicle and transporting him to a nearby hospital where Lisa was informed he did not survive the accident. We are lucky to still have Maggie with us, unharmed. The truck and camper were severely damaged in this accident. Bob and Lisa had all of their possessions inside of the camper, which was to be their home in their new dream life. In this accident, Lisa has lost her person, her home, her belongings; the dream does not exist without Bob in it. While we are in the process of making arrangements for Bob; in Arizona, staying in a hotel with little to no belongings, trying to pick up the pieces of our hearts and lives and move forward.
