Hi, my name is Krystal, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for our dog, Sparky. We want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us so far. Your generosity has made it possible for us to continue pursuing the best possible care.
Since this fundraiser began, he has already undergone multiple procedures and consultations. He has now had several surgeries, and this upcoming appointment will be his fourth doctor visit, including multiple second opinions as we work with specialists to determine the best path forward to save his leg.
As the treatment plan has evolved, so have the associated costs. In addition to ongoing medical expenses, we are now facing additional medications, follow-up evaluations, and the need for a dog sitter during extended appointments and recovery periods.
Because of these unforeseen and continuing needs, we have updated the campaign details to more accurately reflect the current situation. Every contribution continues to go directly toward medical care and essential support related to his recovery.
We are incredibly grateful for the continued support, prayers, and shares. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.
A few days ago, someone broke into our gate and stole our Christmas gifts. They left the gate open, and because of that, Sparky got out. If that never happened, we wouldn’t be living this nightmare.
On December 3rd, Sparky went missing. Within minutes, he was hit by a car. He spent two days alone in the cold—hurt, starving, dehydrated, and unable to move. When my boyfriend finally found him, Sparky crawled out from under a structure and rolled onto his side as if begging for help. It was absolutely heartbreaking.
Sparky has a broken foot, a fractured leg, a severe infection, and maggots inside his wound. The vet said he may even need his leg amputated. He needs emergency surgery and hospital care now.
Losing our Christmas gifts was already painful… but nothing compares to seeing our dog suffering like this and not having the funds to save him. The timing, the holidays, everything hitting at once—it’s overwhelming.
Please, anything you can donate will help us save Sparky’s life.
Thank you for reading, sharing, or helping in any way.
