Sparky's Second Chance: Heartworm Treatment and Care Fund

Background:

Sparky, a sweet and wonderful dog, was found abandoned in a nature preserve, left to fend for himself. Despite his rough start, Sparky has shown nothing but love and resilience. He’s now safe with an amazing foster, but he urgently needs medical treatment to ensure a healthy and happy future.

Why We Need Your Help:

Sparky has tested positive for heartworms and needs immediate treatment to save his life. Heartworm treatment is critical and costly, but it’s the first step to getting Sparky healthy and ready for his adoption and happily ever after. Once he’s heartworm-free, Sparky will also need to be neutered and continue with regular flea and tick control to keep him healthy.

-Heartworm treatment: $1300-$1800

-Neutering: $550

-Flea + tick control: $150

-Emergency medical fund: $500
