Sparky's medical and family support fund

My aunt, Sparky Shooting-Star/Linda Jan Hunt, has been battling with neurological Lyme’s disease for the past two years and was recently diagnosed with ALS. The belief is that the Lyme has caused widespread nerve damage and paralysis, which has morphed into ALS. These past two years of her being sick have caused a great financial burden on her and her partner Sheila Simon; given the traveling, hospitalizations, and treatments needed for this disease. Now to be given this diagnosis has been devastating. For those of you that do not know, ALS is a progressive nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, causing loss of muscle control. There is no cure and is considered a fatal disease. The progression of this disease has affected her mobility, speech, breathing, and ability to swallow. This has made it impossible for either of them to work given the amount of care that is necessary. Over the next two weeks, she will begin to receive palliative hospice care. Thank you for whatever support you can provide.
