Many of you have asked how you can help the Piranhas….The Sparks Piranhas Swim Team has been making a splash throughout Sparks, Reno and beyond for over 40 years.  It is difficult to find someone who has not had some kind of positive experience whether during a community give back event, is an alumni swimmer, current swimmer, or has had a child who was on the team or knows one of the team’s endearing coaches. 

Just as many businesses are struggling and trying to wade through the uncharted waters of COVID-19, the Sparks Piranhas have made an effort to continue their “piranhatude” of positivity and team spirit that they are known for through regular zoom calls, dryland training challenges, personal development and community outreach. 

Now the Piranhas are asking for your support as they too have leases, insurance, taxes and personnel expenses beyond what could be covered in a pending stimulus package.  If you have been a part of Piranha history or know someone who has or simply see the amazing value of instilling leadership, discipline, fun and success through the sport of swim, we are asking for your support now.
