Infinite Spark (In memory of Aidan)

In the last eight months my family and I have struggled through an immense amount of loss. We lost my father in law, and my sister’s mother in law. In August of last year I lost my oldest son, Aidan, and most recently we lost my niece Ne’enawaimainalani. Losing a child is a pain no parent should ever endure. We hold our child in our arms the day they are born and begin to dream of all the things they will do. Aidan’s passing was so sudden there was no time to process or grieve.  Hiding from the world and grieving privately seemed like the right thing to do at the time. We didn’t have time to think about all of the costs that we would take on due to bringing Aidan home, flying to and from home, moving, and taking care of my family during all of our loss. I have stood in awe of my sister’s strength during this time, and that has inspired me to reach out. If she can stand up and be strong for her family, so can I. Any little bit will help, and will be appreciated. We would like to thank you for all the love and support you have given and continue to give.
