Hi, I'm Derek — a close friend of Krisz's, writing from the UK. Krisz lives in Budapest, and because GoFundMe doesn't operate in Hungary, I've set this fundraiser up on his behalf and will personally make sure every penny reaches him. I've known him for years and watched him meet the impossible with more courage and heart than anyone I know. Every word below is his, and every word is true. Please read it.

Krisz's Story:

I was born into a fight with the odds stacked against me. Now, that fight is a high stakes in-betweenness of two cancers that are simultaneously under control for the moment but remain incurable. While my life will lifetime will likely be shortened, I am determined to leave behind something beautiful.

Before I ever took a breath, my DNA was coded with Lynch Syndrome—a broken immune system holding the door wide open for cancer. I was also born with cerebral palsy, which caused physical limitations and developmental delays that made surviving school and navigating social milestones a constant, isolating struggle. Even now, as an adult, parts of my brain still process the world with an adolescent mind.

But CP also gave me my greatest gift. It protected a child-like sense of awe and wonder that most people grow out of. That uncorrupted wonder is the exact lens through which I write every lyric and compose every chord. It's my curiosity that drove me to start playing the piano at age five and programming at age nine. It's my optimism, despite everything, that enables me to build companies and engineer an autonomous AI named Jacob to help me live independently in my flat in Budapest.

No matter what adventures I embark on, music has always been an anchor in my life. Last year, I was halfway through composing a Christmas symphony. I was even in talks with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra to record it.

Then, in 2025, the genetic time bomb detonated.

I experienced severe pain while traveling by air and ended up in hospital shortly after landing. That led to the discovery of stage 3 pancreatic cancer and, while undergoing surgery, stage 4 colon cancer was also found. Two cancers at once. The surgeons rebuilt me from the parts they could save, but complications led to a massive bleed, which nearly killed me. Recovery was arduous and extended over the past year.

Survival is not a victory lap; it is a grueling daily reality. It means dealing with a radically altered body and new chronic conditions. It means managing enzymes, insulin, and diapers just to exist as a human being. It means holding my breath every time a new scan approaches, wondering if this will be the one that doesn't come back clean. After a year of medical trauma, I am financially ruined. I can barely keep the lights on.

But somewhere in the dark of this journey, the burning need to create music returned. I threw out the old symphony. The person who wrote it died along the way, and the world looks entirely different to me now.

The flagship piece of this new legacy is a soaring, orchestral EDM anthem called "One Light."

> One little spark in the dark — and soon the whole world's aglow.

It is a song about what happens when one person shares their flame and watches it multiply. That lyric isn't just a hook; it is my survival plan.

I am asking for your help while I rebuild, focusing on development of Jacob for people everywhere as well as continuing to write, produce, and release new music.

HOW YOU CAN BE A SPARK IN THE DARK:

️ 1. Support the Campaign

I am profoundly thankful for your support. This campaign is a temporary bridge while I rebuild what cancer has taken from me. Every pound goes directly toward the daily, unglamorous realities of survival: rent, groceries, continuous glucose monitors, and the disposable medical supplies keeping me alive. Your support gives me the runway to keep building Jacob and releasing my legacy.

AN EXCLUSIVE GIFT: As a massive thank you, when you donate, you will receive a secret download code for my flagship anthem, "One Light (Festival Mix)", before it even officially releases!

2. Join the Movement

If you can't donate, or if you just want to see the ongoing receipt of your impact, join the Sparks! Streaming the music, sharing it on social media, and subscribing on YouTube are the best ways to build this legacy with me.

Thank you for being a spark in the dark. ✨
