Donations are being taken on behalf of a dear friend of many, Lauren.

Lauren has been dealt a lethal blow, she was diagnosed with Cardiac Sarcoma and has a mass in her left atrium and ventricle that has been increasing in size. Doctors also found a mass in her neck.

A little back story on Lauren. She has dedicated her life to serving others. From a young age, she served in her fire department (where she gained her nickname "Spanner") and through her service in her department she found her passion for emergency medicine. Lauren went on to not only become certified in various firefighting titles but also became a nurse who thrived in the ICU. Lauren has never backed away from a challenge and has always been the one to prove anybody wrong, she can do anything. Aside from her career and passion for helping others, she is a mother to three beautiful children. The youngest being 3 years old. She is a daughter, a sister, and a friend. She makes everyone feel welcome and radiates a sense of comfort and compassion that calms anyone's nerves. She is a leader and is the first person to have your back when you need it. She's truly an amazing woman.

Lauren battled cancer in the past and WON! However she is feeling pretty low and would never imagine asking for help since she's the one who always offered the helping hand.

Lauren has been out of work since October. Her condition has caused her to be unable to do much of anything without becoming dangerously short of breath and oxygen deprived to the point of her passing out. She has been told to take it as easy as possible and is going in for open heart surgery in the next few weeks in hopes to remove the tumor. This woman has been through the ringer, bounced from specialist to specialist, having to self advocate because nobody seemed to listen or take her serious. She finally has an answer that unfortunately leaves her with more questions and worries. The last thing she should be worrying about right now is finances. Lauren is going through the most brutal battle of her life right now and her main focus is her children.

Please us help her. She is such an inspiration and anyone who knows her would agree she would be the first to help someone else if they were going through this.
