The Spanner Monkeys approached the Community Autism Project (CAP) RCN 1182903 asking if they could raise funds for us whilst completing the Rustbox Rallie in March 2026.

We are very excited that they have chosen us and we are proud to be supporting them in their forthcoming adventure.

The Rustbox Rally is a group of like minded people who like cars and enjoy a challenge along the way.

The team set off the day before the rally starts joining a convoy at Scotch corner picking more cars on route.

They stop several times on the way up for photo opportunities adding videos to a Facebook page to keep people updated with progress.

On arrival at Fort William they then take part in a team quiz to get to know the other teams.

On the morning of the rally they meet at a designated point to get their challenges for the day which could be simple photos, wasting time challenges or something a little more challenging. They have till 6pm that day to complete all challenges.

This continues through the 3 days finally meeting back at the finishing point for the awards evening and a few light refreshments.

They will be posting the days challenges every morning on social media so people can see what they have to do.

And Maureen (Mo) a hopefully trusty 2003 Ford Mondeo which the Spanner Monkeys have purchased for £200.

The team hope to raise as much money as they can for The Community Autism Project whilst having fun.
