Memorial Funds for SpanishFly aka RockE Ramos

My world has been shattered, My heart for uh ever broken. My soul is in unbelievable pain. He wasn't finished here yet but I suppose God had greater plans for him in heaven. Ernesto was an amazing husband, incredible father, brother and beloved son. He loved his Freestyle Family!! His God given unremarkable talent touched many lives with his beautiful heavenly voice and impeccable skills. Loved by so many and will be missed!! Forever in my heart. Until we meet again my love

Ernesto went live on Facebook live a week after the COVID lockdown. He led his family in a prayer on FB live covering families everywhere in prayers for protection against the COVID virus and proclaiming his faith in Jesus Christ. He asked for everyone to unite in prayer and to stay home and to be considerate of others that were high risk. He didn’t leave his home for 3 months.

Despite his efforts to stay healthy and social distance, Ernesto and his family (wife and kids) got sick. The kids seemed to have a flu and weren’t feeling well. They recovered just fine but a day before Father’s Day, Ernesto went to the ER because he was feeling worse and having trouble breathing. He was admitted into the hospital and was told he was positive for COVID. He was sent home later that day and on Monday he was rushed by ambulance back to the hospital.

Just a couple of days after being admitted he was put on a ventilator and endured many more invasive procedures in an effort to save his life.

So many of our family and friends and members of church prayed with us for his recovery and healing. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers, messages, and calls to check on him. After 5 weeks in ICU, my brother passed away from complications caused by COVID.

Our family is in shock and saddened by his passing. His wife (my sister in law) and their kids are extremely devastated and just processing what has just happened that has changed their lives forever.

Ernesto was their sole provider and Jennifer is now trying to collect the funds to bury her husband. If you’re able to contribute, anything helps. Thank you SO much for your prayers and thoughts.

Please keep praying for our mom, his wife and children. We know we will see you again but your passing hurts and knowing we won’t get to see you or laugh with you is hard to comprehend.
