Spaniel & WJF Gundog Rescue - In loving memory of Tuco

My beautiful boy Tuco passed over rainbow bridge on Xmas Eve 2024. He was my soul dog, my constant in life and never left my side. He loved the mountains, car trips & mostly swimming at Aqua Dog Hydrotherapy. He really just loved being on an adventure with me and I miss him so much.

He would have been 13 on FRIDAY 21st March so I have decided to ride/walk up and down Slieve Croob, Dromara 13 times to honour his memory as it was a mountain we most visited together and the last mountain he was on before passing……

I would like to raise a little bit of money for Spaniels & Gundog Rescue as my heart has always had a soft spot for the Gundog breed especially spaniels.

I hate seeing what is happening with dogs in the country right now as they are just abandoned on a daily basis and without these rescue/rehoming centre it would be so much worse.

If anyone would like to come along and join me on the day for 1 ascent or a few, the pace will be slow as I will be covering approx 37miles and 8500ft of climbing! I will be there from 930am until I finish.

I will have a support crew in the Carpark at Slieve Croob with chairs/Tea/Coffee & biscuits for everyone…..

All donations appreciated and welcome, donations will go towards flea/worming/neutering/Injuries/Trauma etc
