Spaghetti’s Surgeries

Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of meeting our Spaghetti has known love at first sight. Spaghetti has travelled all over the country with us in his 5 years. He is our best hiking partner, our fearless protector, and the most gentle loving soul. The impact he has on every person he meets is unimaginable. Unfortunately he has torn both his ACL’s and has developed arthritis in his right hip. While both of the ACL tears can be fixed with surgery we won’t know whether surgery can help his hip until we are able to get into a specialist. While asking for help is never easy, we want to do everything we can to help our Spaghetti Noodle, and getting him this veterinary care is our best option. Each ACL surgery is $5,000, getting into a specialist for a consult is $400, and if the specialist thinks surgery will help his hip we have been quoted at $10,000 to $15,000 for that surgery. If surgery cannot help Spaghetti’s hip he will be on pain medication the rest of his life unfortunately.
