Spaghetti the pup needs help to walk again

Donation protected
Hello,

My name is Crystal. One of my very sweet pups, Spaghetti, injured his ACL(CCL) and meniscus in his rear left leg. If you know him, you know he's extremely sweet and friendly. He excitedly runs up to everyone with a bright smile to say hello and loves to spread his happy energy to anyone. As a result of his injury he cannot put any weight on it at all and has left his leg entirely lame. Per the vet at the VCA, he needs to undergo obligatory surgery to repair both of these injuries. After consulting with a surgeon they offered two options:

1. Lateral Fabellar Technique - This is the cheaper surgical option but runs about a 10% risk of failure which would then require an additional TPLO surgery.
2. Tibial Plateau Leveling (TPLO) - This is the gold standard and preferred treatment for this kind of injury.

Both of these procedures carry a hefty cost.
Option 1 requires a $6000 deposit on the day of surgery.
Option 2 requires a $8200 deposit on the day of surgery.
The full price of each of these procedures are expected to add an additional $1500-$2000 on top of the respective deposit.

While I do have pet insurance, I haven't had it long enough to cover the costs of Cruciate Ligament surgery, which is the type of surgery he needs. This is why I'm asking for assistance. I don't have the funds to cover the deposit, and without at least $6000 these injuries can't be repaired. Absent surgery to fix his leg, his other rear leg also runs a significant risk of acquiring the same injury due to all the additional stress.

He has been in high spirits throughout this though, keeping a big happy smile and a jovial tail wag and butt wiggle where ever he goes. He's been on a couple of medications to help reduce inflammation and mitigate the pain. Living two flights up has required me to carry him up and down the staircase for bathroom breaks several times a day as the elevator has been out of service.

I'm just asking for some assistance to help me get the deposit. Fortunately, he's not a super active dog so I'm hoping the cheaper option will be sufficient and that is what I anticipate to have done.
