I am working to help promote Virtual Reality and take milestone efforts to get the technology in the hands of students.
On April 9th there will be event called Bronco Day. A day that is bound to have a big social impact. Thousands of High School students and their families come to this free event at Boise State to see what the school has to offer.
Virtual Reality expereinces for space and Mars means we have to use a Gear VR and Oculus Rift. But what about lifting a user off the ground to experience reduced gravity while they are in the Virtual Reality environment. Or a simulation of a spacecraft take off where a user can expereince the vibration of lift off.
We need to purchase and order materials within the next three weeks!
These materials include:
Shoulder harness - for safety with the fly system
HDMI wireless adapter - to allow the audience to see what the user sees in the headset
Vibration chair - allows users to feel what it would be like if they experienced the shaking of take off
Extending Virtual Reality demonstrations to include outside sensoy is the next big thing! Help this project launch off!
