Wir, Javier, Nina, Luzie und Tobias haben 2021 das SP.A.CE case Collective gegründet . Unser Vorhaben ist es als freies Künstlerkollektiv die demokratische Arbeit im Kollektiv in den Fokus zu stellen und freie Tanztheaterperformances zu entwickeln und umzusetzen.

In 2021 it all started. A group of artists and friends came together with ideas, concepts, and dreams to turn into artistic reality. We Javier, Nina, Luzie and Tobias initiated the SP.A.CE case collective. Our artistic collective is here to create and produce performances with dance and theatrical elements.
Unsere erste 30-minütige Performance entwickelt sich aktuell mit jedem Tag. Ein Kubus, 2 Raum- und Zeitreisende, zwei sich bewegende Körper, Licht und Schatten.
Im März soll sie in Hannover uraufgeführt werden, im Mai dann beim Auf Auf! Festival in Österreich als Gastspiel präsentiert werden. Eine Kooperation mit dem Tatwerk in Berlin ist im Gespräch und natürlich wollen wir unsere erste Performance SP.A.CE case Arrival auch noch an anderen Orten und auf weiteren Festivals präsentieren.

Our first full performance is currently on its way to become theatre reality. Everyone of us in the SP.A.CE case collective can't believe how far we have come and we continue to work and be inspired by each other to go even further.
One cube with two travelers moving through space, time, light and sound is the core essence of our premiere production SP.A.CE case Arrival.
In March we are showing our first performance here in Hanover. Starting regional was always an important idea for our collective. A great artist once said, "From the root to the fruit, that's where everything started at." Later in May we will be performing in Austria with an invitation from the new Auf! Auf! Festival for performing arts in Bad Ischl. In cooperation with Tatwerk, a center for performing arts in Berlin is also under way for online and live performances.

Vom Kulturbüro der Stadt Hannover werden wir dafür mit 3.800 Euro gefördert.
Um die Performance im März, sowie das geplante Gastspiel in Österreich umsetzen zu können und auch die eine oder andere technische Ausrüstung wie zum Beispiel LED Leuchtröhren noch anzuschaffen brauchen wir noch mindestens 2.500 Euro.
Gagen zahlen wir uns aktuell selber keine, nur unserem Gastkünstler Davide Sioni, den wir eingeladen haben die erste Etappe der Reise des SP.A.CE cases mit uns gemeinsam zu erleben. Viele Ideen entstanden in einem ersten Entwurf aus einem Lowbudget-Gedanken heraus. Für die konkrete Umsetzung, Raummieten, Materialkosten, und anderes braucht es aber natürlich dann doch ein wenig Kapital.

As a new collective we have learned a lot with aspects outside of the rehearsal studio. Such as how to apply for state and federal funding and seeking out sponsorships. Lucky for us we were able to receive funding from the Kulturbüro here in Hanover. The funding that we received is wonderful support which gave us a boost to continue with our hard work. Hanover has given us the opportunity to create this first chapter of SP.A.CE case.
This is an amazing starting point, we have already been able to order important set design materials to build our cube and other materials and elements to create our universe. There is still of course further work to be done and things to acquire. Materials such as L.E.D. lights, constructional material, costumes and not to mention travel and production cost to showcase in Hanover, Austria and Berlin is needed as well. Raising 2,500 Euros more to make our dreams and hard work a reality begins now.
The members of the collective will not receive any salary for creating this first production. The only thing that matters is making this project come to light. Only our guest artist, Davide Sioni will be receiving a salary for his dedication to the project and wonderful contributions during the rehearsal process.
A lot of our ideas came from low budget creative DIY try outs and inventions. This is where our true creativity has flourished. Of course making it performance ready needs material costs, rent, and other ressources.

Wichtig ist uns herauszustellen, dass ihr uns mit eurer Spende nicht nur finanziell, sondern auch vor allem ideell unterstützen könntet.
Wir stecken noch in den Babyschuhen als junges Kollektiv, haben mit dem SP.A.CE case aber einiges vor, kümmern uns um weitere Gelder und Möglichkeiten unsere Welt, unsere kreativen Ideen zu präsentieren und entdecken gemeinsam im Kollektiv, und das ist wohl das Beste an allem, die von uns kreierte Welt.

It goes without saying that supporting us is not only about giving monetary donations but about that feeling that we know that we have your support for our vision. Since the beginning of this collective a very important thing for us was how we wanted to change how a creative process was conducted and how people communicated with each other. Mutual respect for what each one of us brought to the table is our core foundation. Nina, Tobi, Luzie, and Javier have brought their individual expertise in performing arts together to work, share and create ideas as equals to ensure that the most important outcome was the execution and quality of this production.
You as our community of friends, family, followers and possible donors will be part of this process of creating something that hasn't ever been seen before.
